Republic Artists at Chapeau Rouge, Saturday 24th February

What Republic Artists label started sixteen years ago in London has settled in Prague for now, keeping connection with UK based artists, special dj guests, live acts and fresh blood from the local scene.

At Chapeau Rouge we run 3 floors of music and 4 bars to keep you hydrated. If you are a fan of packed dance floors, strong drinks, good sound system, house and techno music than join the troops partisans!

Behind the decks, we welcome Rico Casazza, who travelled the world as a guest dj the past 20 years with highlights including shows at Boiler Room Goa, Fabric London and DGTL festival. Rico has released music on Wiggle, Serialism, Cultivated Electronics, Furthur Electornix, Beef Records and Moving Pictures.

Prague based Elektrabel, who will be selecting music on the first half of the night, got noticed by Jeff Mills in an early stage of his career which resulted in signing his first EP to 6277 (Axis sublabel), another 3 releases followed on the same label two years later. Elektrabel played all over the Czech Republic and internationally in respected clubs including Womb Tokyo and Tresor Berlin. Ben Klock included Elektrabel’s track „Daje“in his set at Dekmantel.

Rico Casazza will be supported at the underground house floor by Stessie Tfgn from France, Täino from Azerbaijan and local hero Da Moon!

At the techno floor we have the aforementioned Elektrabel who will be supported by RA boss Thomas Tesla who is locally known for running Gram Records vinyl shop and abroad a frequent dj guest in Egg London and Goldengate Berlin. Riki Boro from Kazakhstan, an integral part of Hedone crew wil bring fresh east flavour to the mix!

At the bar upstairs we have dj duo Koka who will play a mixture of old skol house, disco, nu disco and some breaks all night from vinyl records only.
