Republic Artists collective is back for a very special one-off event! This time we are taking over a moored boat Bar&Co located at Temple Pier. Bar&Co is spread over two decks. The lower deck with dj booth, dance floor, bar and banging sound system is designed for clubbing, at the upper sun deck you can sit and relax while watching some iconic London landmarks. For peeps who never attended our event the Underground House and Techno and its derivates are the main sound of our parties.
Behind the decks, we welcome Rico Casazza, who travelled the world past 20 years with highlights including shows at Boiler Room Goa and Fabric London. Rico is now based in Prague, Czech Republic, working in the recording studio on sound design and projects for films. He is a close friend of Kozber who will also step behind decks. Kozber, a jack of all trades has been DJing regularly in the East London area in places like Vibe Bar, Cafe 1001, 93 Feet East, Magic Roundabout, Bedroom Bar, Bar 512, and on a few occasions at Fabric London, The Egg, Fire, Lightbox and Dalston Roof Top. He co-runs two record labels called Little Beat Different, Play It Loud. He’s an avid vinyl collector and passionate crate digger. Both Rico Casazza and Kozber has been constantly releasing music on top labels and formed a new live project called Bonasforsa that represents other music tastes of both artists whish are Jazz, Soul, RnB and Hip-hop.
It wouldn’t be a proper Republic Artists party without label boss Thomas Tesla who has graced the turntables of some major clubs in the capital, including Crucifix Lane, The Steelyard, Ministry Of Sound, The Egg, The Fire, Corsica Studios, Jamm Brixton, Lightbox. Other gigs include trips to Poland, Spain, Hungary, Austria, Germany with shows in respected venues including Tresor Berlin, Suicide Circus Berlin, Golden Gate Berlin, Magdalena Berlin, Amnesia Ibiza, Eden Ibiza or Roxy Prague. In 2015 Thomas relocated to Prague, Czech Republic where he opened Gram Records vinyl store that quickly became the number one hot spot for djs searching for electronic music.
Republic Artists resident dj and live performer Arthur Keen has been with RA crew almost from day one, hardly missed any of our UK events and is regularly booked for our parties in Czech and Ibiza. Back in the day he was at the front of Poison collective which grew into one of the top London hard house and trance events. Arthur set up his own imprint called Sinner Land Records which currently smashes charts worldwide, focusing on deeper, melodic techno as well as a more experimental side of electronic music.
Illus1on is a passionate music maker and producer, a regular face on RA boat parties will make his Republic Artists dj debut and we can’t wait to hear what he has got in his record bag. Illus1on has been producing and releasing music past 10 years and only recently started djing out regularly here in UK as well as in Netherlands during ADE last year.
RA resident dj Boletz will round off an already stellar line-up! Boletz rarely appears in public, but when he does you can be sure he delivers nothing but gold!
In the last 15 years, Republic Artists Collective hosted over 260 parties in the UK, Czech Republic, Ibiza and other parts of Europe. Released music has been aired via UK and international radio stations including BBC, Ibiza Global Radio, and Proton, and played at festivals and clubs around the world by many respected artists.
