Jacob B has achieved a great deal in just a few years as one of Poland and the techno scenes most exciting new producers. On the Sruba EP, Jacob returns to the label whose first release he produced: Republic Artists. If you know the Republic Artists parties in London & Prague, then the sound of this release should come as no surprise. That said, Jacob Bs second outing for these techno-lovers is fiercer, bigger & more banging than anything released before!
Title track Sruba is a fine example of a heavy peak-time rave track, its vocal sample come with me more hypnotic as the song progresses. Its mean & moody music for dark dance floors.. handle with caution! Next up theres Stomper, whose arpeggiated synth melody makes a seriously trippy vibe throughout. This ones very deep, dusty and ice cold.. for those who want to really control their crowd! Last ups Drill, a fitting title for a track with such a killer industrial edge. The EPs heaviest, Drill, repeatedly pounds the listener into submission. All three tracks on Sruba are totally devastating in their own right. For big moments at big room techno parties.. A perfect fit for Republic Artists!
